This place suits me perfectly, offering reliable wi-fi, a cozy bar/lounge area, and helpful luggage storage. The staff even found my lost barrette during my first visit! I highly recommend staying here, especially for the friendly service. I'm coming back for Christmas.

Charming Stay with Friendly Vibes
We felt warmly welcomed during our stay, especially at breakfast where the cheerful staff made each morning delightful. The cozy twin room offered great comfort after long days exploring. Pro tip, early risers should get to breakfast right at opening for the best selection.

Had a great time with friends! We explored the scenic Sky Road and enjoyed fresh water fishing nearby. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the rooms were comfortable. Plus, the staff went above and beyond, making our stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommend the restaurant for dinner too!
The only downside was that the live music promised for our arrival night wasn't happening, which was a bit of a letdown, but we found some elsewhere in town.

Charming decor with antique furnishings, great pub atmosphere with live music, quality live entertainment
Rooms are quite dated with worn furnishings, noisy disturbances from the pub area disrupt sleep!!! Lack of air conditioning can make summer stays uncomfortable!!!

missingWrote a review on Jul 09central locationdelicious breakfastclean facilitiesbusy street
Location’s spot-on, right at the heart of everything. The restaurant serves a varied and delicious breakfast, a solid way to start the day before you hit the nearby attractions.
The street outside can get real busy during the day, which might bother light sleepers if your room is facing the street. Parking’s a bit tight and tricky. I had a small car and even then it wasn’t the easiest to maneuver. The old building's charm comes with some creaky floors and squeaky mattresses that could use a refresh. The bathrooms sport shower curtains instead of modern screens. The breakfast, while varied, fell a bit flat—definitely needed a little more toasting on the bread. Can't forget to mention the lack of air conditioning for those warm days. Just a few things that could use a look to enhance the stay.

The charming antique decor made me feel like I stepped into a lovely time capsule, with wide, easy stairs that welcomed my senior legs with open arms. What a delightful atmosphere for a relaxing stay!
Could use more handrails for added support.

We had a lovely family stay, enjoying the spacious family room and the delicious meals at the restaurant. The kids loved exploring the nearby playground, just a short drive away. The staff was warm and attentive, making our entire experience feel special.
In my wife’s opinion, a few more kid-friendly activities would enhance the stay.

Delight in the heart of Clifden
The staff were remarkably friendly, making each breakfast an enjoyable experience. The cozy pub offered great live music, bringing the evenings to life.
The noise from the pub below made it difficult to fall asleep early, especially on weekends when live performances were in full swing.

Had a lovely stay in room 209 where we enjoyed the warm and comfortable beds along with a delicious full Irish breakfast. The hotel features a cozy bar that had live music on our visit, and lounging in the charming garden was relaxing. It would be great to have coffee available early since the restaurant opens later, but overall, we had a fantastic time! ☕
